This motor has been thoroughly tested. It runs smoothly in both directions, starting around 1 volt drawing less than 0.1 amp with no load (advertised as 40 milliamps) up through 12 volts. The original seller claimed the stall current to be 400 ma at 12 volts and the maximum rated speed to be about 9400 rpm.
The motor front face is tapped for 2 mm mounting screws at 13mm centers. I'm including some nice plated 2 mm screws of the proper length for that purpose.
