.Allen Owen Glass Collection Antique Czech Crystals Beads Necklace Signed Multi. We used to carry Allen Owen in our handcraft gallery in the 80's and 90's. Allen was a jewelry designer- who in the 80's stumbled across a huge cache of antique czech beads crystals in the Gablonz area of Czechoslovakia that had been hidden in mines since the 30's when the people put them there and escaped "whatshisname". Post war most of the glassworkers were gone...the glass industry there was nonexistant..until just after The Berlin wall fell . This necklace is 30" with a 2" extender 1/2" widest Beautiful beads some satin with color inside blues range from peacock to cobalt some opaque turquoise some deep rasperry luscious olive faceted not faceted . . check out our other auctions and store for more wonderful things!
